An innocent Honda Civic is hidden underneath this Lamborghini Aventador
The almost successful metamorphosis of the Japanese compact car
In India, we don't have money but we have ideas, this is the sentence that could be used to highlight the country's abundance of fake supercars. This curious practice is understandable, as it is impossible for the average Indian to buy a car that is a bit high-end.
All that is needed is to be a simple handyman and to choose a solid base to carry out your project. But sometimes the result is more of a joke, as the base vehicle is so far away from the desired one. Let's be reassured, in rare cases, the imitation is nevertheless perfect and the deception works perfectly.

The caterpillar then becomes a magnificent butterfly. This is not the case with the latest example, which is rather so so. The Mumbai-based Executive Mod Trendz company looked at a 2009 Honda Civic to turn it into a Lamborghini Aventador. The final package cannot be considered a work of art.
While the result is convincing from certain angles, particularly at the front where the Italian supercar's nose is fairly faithfully reproduced, the rear section, which is much too high compared to the Aventador, unfortunately betrays everything. Criticism seems easy but it is true that the challenge was big for the company.
Moving from a front-engine compact car to a rear mid-engine supercar must have been no easy task, especially since the interior was also changed. The dashboard and centre console also vaguely resemble those of the supercar. On the other hand, the doors do look bad, as the cut-out is too square and does not look right.
It will however be enough to have a few seconds of glory in the streets before the uninformed eye gets too close and discovers the trickery.
