One of the innovators of the early days of the quartz watch. From 1972 a Girard Perregaux with a 350 series movement. These set the general standard of the vast majority of analogue quartz watches to follow; once per second tick and a quartz frequency of 32768Hz. They came in many styles, this example with the Motorola Chip dial design about the hardest to find nowadays
