Hello there, my dear tribers! So good to finally start writing here again. I have another short & sweet classic car museum review for you. Buckle up and let's get down to business, shall we?

In our city (Ekaterinburg) we have 2 car museums that you should check out. I have written here plenty about the first:

a) drivetribe.com/p/possibly-the-best-automotive-museum-R1LK7toPQNmRRqgo3VRGug?iid=ZYLQuAIlToaV7iZKV8AbIw

b) drivetribe.com/p/rally-ural-2019-H_DD1IHnQTmnnAs_uPy9Hw?iid=YPcOin-9SVSJlfmmsK5jqw

But let's hear more about the second:

It was founded in 2016 by local vintage car autoclub. Maintained and supported mainly by city's and region's vehicle enthusiasths. As of now there are more then 300 exponents (cars, bikes, motorcycles, automotive parts, accessories, road signs etc). Vast majority of them are of XX century. Countries of origin: USA, Soviet Union, CIS region; Cycling fans are especially welcome - you will find VERY rare pieces and will be especially pleased with vintage posters. Bikers - be on a look out for helmets and petrol tanks! Half of the exhibit is outdoors. Atmosphere - quite festive, I mean it can't be other way round, they have Chuck Berry and AC/DC on jukebox. How cool is that!

Myself, I've been here couple of times and once even convinced my collegue from London who was here on a business trip to join me! He was genuinely impressed!

I even have a cap for such occasions ;)

This thing is also one big luck to find! I even heard that some countries actually still use coin parking system. Let me know if you have some information on that.

Now for the bikes:

I took some extra time and took more photos of a stamps. Found some very rare and interesting ones.

And there's more.

Short recap:

How to get there: Located in the same district as our local airport (SVX), I recommend to take a taxi or car sharing.

Charge? Free admission, but you can leave a tip for museum's development.

P.S How would you like to view the photos? Like that? In Carousel? In Video?

Please let me know! Thx!

  • Happy enough with the photos as they are. Only preference would be 16:9, look much better on a full screen desktop.

  • Is it a phone museum as well then?
