Another day, another supercar catches fire

And it's a McLaren 570s this time

The eye-opening truth is that all cars, not just EVs, can potentially catch fire even though, fortunately, they rarely do. The latest incident happened in Las Vegas, where a McLaren 570s went up in flames at a fuel station.

Somebody shared the video on Instagram and it seems the fire may have been caused by a spillover, and not a mechanical issue. This, by the way, is the second McLaren supercar involved in such incident in just a few months, after the 765 LT that burnt to a pile of ash in Upper Gwynedd Township, Pennsylvania.

We don't know what happened to the car (yet) but the supercar in question was apparently a rental from Royalty Exotic Cars. Hopefully they've got insurance.

  • It's planned obsolescence. Burn it down - buy a new one. Great business strategy!!
