The Prime Video app has launched for Apple's streaming device

2y ago

The Grand Tour will now have a larger reach than ever with the launch of the Amazon Prime Video app on Apple TV...just in time for tomorrow's premiere!

The Prime Video app will now be accesible in over 100 countries. The most recent fourth and fifth generation Apple TV device has its own tvOS App Store, and prior to today, the Prime Video app was missing.

Apple owners could previously watch the show using AirPlay, but having the app natively on your Apple TV makes life so much easier. Mark Earner, the VP of Prime Video says:

"There is nothing that excites us more than delighting our customers, and we are thrilled for them to stream Prime Video on Apple TV.

The app arrives just in time for the highly anticipated new season of The Grand Tour, which launches on 8th December, and Prime Video members streaming on the Apple TV 4K will have the exceptional viewing experience of 4K HDR.”

One more day!

  • This won't be region locked right? HBO does the region lock thing with HBO Nordic not being available on Apple TV.
