Arkonik’s origins are humble, beginning on founder Andy Hayes’ driveway back in 2006 after he had been involved in a motorcycle accident. Arriving home from hospital, Hayes discovered his wife had bought him an 1984 Stratos Blue Land Rover 110 to help with his recouperation.

THE GENESIS OF ARKONIK

Once he had made the old V8 roadworthy, Andy traveled around Europe for a few months before returning to England with an idea: to create the most authentic restored Land Rovers in the world. And so, Arkonik was born. As the genesis and “first love” of the Arkonik brand, it was the most natural decision to make UJO their ‘signature’ vehicle.

CAPTURING THE SOUL OF THE BRITISH LEGEND

Arkonik joined forces with REC, to combine their expertise to capture the soul of this iconic British vehicle. Once REC had removed the paint and primer from the door, they punched out a total of 302 dials from the metal, each bearing the marks and dents acquired over the lifetime of this one-of-a-kind Land Rover.

LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED

Every detail of the RNR ARKONIK is designed to reflect UJO’s functionality, styling and history. The complex design process left no stone unturned, with raw power and speed key elements in the creation of the RNR ARKONIK. This signature timepiece embodies British ingenuity and innovation, and speaks directly to the millions of Land Rover enthusiasts all over the world.
