I believe that is an M101A trailer, they changed the pintle hitch doughnut to a standard hitch, I totally understand that. They do have replacement parts for them from places like Midwest Military. I'm in the MVPA, you can get anything you need for those.
That seems likely, especially since I'm pretty sure it went through multiple owners between being surplused and ending up sitting there. Eventually it'll probably go back on (light) duty for firewood or hay, but I'm sure that won't happen...
