This is a 1965 Silver Cloud III - The last of the Silver Cloud Series, the model line which represent the last of the truly coach-built Rollers, the last with a chassis before the more mass-rpoduced Silver Shadows hit the showroom floors.
Plus, it is a Mulliner Park-Ward Drophead Coupe - the Unicorns of Rolls-Royces, always worth many times the value of their lowly hard-topped brethren.
To my mind, this is the most desirable of Rolls-Royces, and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
This example is one of only 100 made.
Power is from a 6.2 Litre V8 via a 4-speed Hydramatic Gearbox. Output is approximately 240hp.
It was first owned by Arthur J Rank, of British Movie Making fame.
Silver Cloud III's were built from 1963 until 1966, with minor changes to trim throughout the life span.
The Mulliner Park Ward version is the only one to feature those fantastic slanted headlights!
