As I was driving through to town of Weston, West Virginia today. I spotted two Ford Model A’s. I was driving the way they were going anyways so I figured I might see where they went. Well they pulled into a parking lot with Several other Model A’s. I stumbled into an amazing car meet. Total 151 Ford Model A’s would soon fill up this parking lot. This parking lot is the home of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatics Asylum, which opened in 1864 and closed in 1994. The Asylum which was designed for only 250 souls would be home to 2,400 in the 1950’s. Today was a great mixture of beautiful cars and amazing architecture.
