Aston Martin confirms production of a limited edition V12 Speedster

Yesterday I wrote something about Aston's trial and tribulation and unfortunately this piece of news sort of confirms it because this is the only picture they provided. Not ideal. Anyway, they did at least include a lot of words. What they're basically saying is they're gonna build a two-seater open cockpit V12 Speedster as a homage to the 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1. It is going to be powered by a 5.2 L twin-turbo V12 making around 700 hp and 516 torques. The gear is an 8-speed automatic.Only 88 units are going to be built, available from early 2021.

  • Me too! I love Aston ... always have. If history is anything to go by, whatever they come up with will be beautiful.

    • First choice is the ‘19 flat grey Superleggera. Nostalgic choice is the ‘64 DB5. YOURS??
