- We may have gotten it a little dirty. Still, looks good dirty…
- You can see why we got it dirty
- Filmmaker Sam Riley doing his thing. Sam, do not let go of the camera!
- You can't see it in this photo, but the V12 Vantage S Manual has a seven-speed, dog-leg gearbox that's offered as a no-cost option. Rare. Welcome
- 568bhp? To the rear wheels? In these conditions? Err…
- V12 Vantage S the result of Aston Martin stuffing its largest engine into its smaller car. Long may that continue
- Upturned rear spoiler much more subtle than Vantage GT12's colossal appendage
- Orange accents part of the Sport-Plus Pack, which also adds an extra 5bhp
- Looks good in baby blue, no?
- Our long-term Kia Optima Sportswagon. Carries Sam's camera gear all over the country, and does a very good job of it too
- Here is it, acting as stand-in, about to be moved out of shot so the DB11 can have its time in the limelight
- Okay, the Aston's not a bad replacement
- England's green and pleasant land, and an Aston Martin. Very British
- Huge bonnet hinges from the nose, rather from the A-pillars
- The Aston Martin Aeroblade (that tiny slit in the top of the rear deck) removes the need for a rear spoiler by funnelling air through intakes aft of the rear windows and then out of the boot lid
- Gorgeous details abound on the DB11, not least these rear lights
- V12 Vantage S Manual: the present. DB11: the future
Henry's been off thrashing this pair through England and Scotland. There's a video coming later this week, but for now gawp at the gallery
