Aston Martin teases v12 roadster in new sketch
Aston Martin has unleasehd a sketch to the public that displays an all new V12 open top roadster similar to the Ferrari SP models and the new Mclaren Elva. This means no top, no windshield so prepare you leather cap and racing goggles!
This new car in the works is inspired by the CC100 Concept and the late DBR1 racer of 1950s. The official price has not been announced but Aston Martin promises that it will cost over $1 million and only 88 will be up for someone who desires this car to buy. It will use the 5.2L twin-turbocharged V12 from the DBS superleggera and the DB11 and make 690 horsepower and 516 lb ft of torque and will be mated to the Eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. It will use bonded Aluminum construction and of course will be mostly Carbon fiber bodied especially with such a price tag.
The sketch show more aggressive bodywork from the CC100 and with a fin spoiler or ducktail if you will. The car will be very beautiful indeed as Aston Martins always are. Deliveries are planned to begin in early 2021 so it could be a little later than the Elva and already the Ferrari SP models but I think it should be worth the wait!
