Aston Martin Turns £87m Profit For First Time Since 2010
The British carmaker sold over 5,000 models in 2017, allowing them to turn a profit for the first time in 7 years
In 2017, Aston Martin sold just over 5,000 vehicles, allowing them to post their first annual profit since 2010.
The new DB11 model helped them reach a pre-tax profit of £87m (US $121m, AU $155m) compared witha £163m loss in 2016.

Its sales rose to a nine-year high, and revenue increased my a massive 48%, to £876m (US $1.2bn, AU $1.5bn).
CEO Andy Palmer said that the positive figured showed that his turnaround plan for the company is working.
He said that he expected output to rise 'significantly' above 5,000 cars in 2018.
'I would expect the factory to be max-ing out in terms of its production capability towards the second half of the year.'
