Aston Martin Zagato Shooting Brake is revealed in all of its stunning glory
The beauty that is the Zagato Shooting Brake has finally been unveiled
A few months ago, Aston Martin teased us with its Vanquish Zagatos reveal while somehow managing not to show us the Shooting Brake model in full.
Not a full reveal, not now, not ever.....
Now though, they have finally revealed the Shooting Brake in full and news is good as it’s the stunning work of art on wheels you see here. Just check out that roof with a seamless windscreen to roofline design as we think it’s magnificent.
If you want one, you're out of luck as all 99 examples have been sold. The Shooting Brake will be built as part of a total of 325 Zagatos planned for production including 28 Speedsters, along with a total of 99 Volantes and Coupes. Rumour has it that a few very wealthy individuals have ordered one of each model at around £500,000 per car, because why not.
Under all that pretty bodywork you will find the underpinnings of a Vanquish S which is a very good base for proceedings. This means a 5.0-litre V12 engine; this is good for 592bhp which all makes its way to the rear wheels via an eight-speed auto box.
As Aston haven’t (yet) confirmed any times for the shooting brake, expect it to be similar to the heavier speedster model with a 0-62mph time of around 3.9 seconds and a top speed in the region of 197mph or thereabouts.
So, it has the looks, and it has the powertrain to back it up, do you want one? Because we do very very much so.

Absolutely stunning. If I were a person of means I'd have a Porsche. If I were really rich I'd have an Aston.
May I repost?
Of course, no need to ask...
Why no interior shots?
And to think these cars won't be allowed in certain cities in a few years...
Beyond gorgeous. Aston are so on point these days.
