Audi A3 Outdrags a Porsche 911 GT2 RS in reverse
The Porsche is fast but the Audi is a high powered 1,200 HP Electric A3 - but going backwards?
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is fast. Very fast. According to Porsche the GT2 RS "ticks the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h box after just 2.8 seconds. It reaches the 200-km/h mark after only 8.3 seconds. And after 22.1 seconds, the 300-km/h mark is water under the bridge."
In your petrol-powered car the reverse gear is low and slow. EVs on the other hand can make the prop shaft go in the opposite direction. This is very dangerous as any top speed it can reach going forward, it could also hit going backwards. Imagine going that fast in reverse. Well Daniel Abt has done just that.
Daniel Abt is a professional race driver in Formula E has proven that he can go faster in reverse than a Porsche GT2 RS. Watch the video below as he has set a reverse driving record at 210km/h (130 mph) in the Audi RS3 TCR-based ABT 4ePerformance.
As mentioned earlier the A3 has had the reverse limiters lifted for this stunt so do not try this at home with your Audi e-tron
So apart from a crazy stunt was does the video prove?

So a completely stock car vs a heavily modified car that’s already fast for stock? Sounds fair.
