    Key Points:

    1. Audi has updated the A6 for the 2021 model year.

    2. The base 2.0 L engine now makes 261 horsepower rather than the previous model year's 248-hp.

    3. It will go on sale by the end of 2020 with a starting price of $56,445.

Audi has updated the A6 luxury sedan for 2021, with more standard equipment, power, and a new package all included. Unfortunately, these new features aren't free, and arrive with an increased starting price. The base engine, a 2.0 L 4-cylinder, now generates 261 horsepower, rather than the 2020 A6's 248 horsepower. Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system is standard along with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

This update also brings a new standard package. For 2021 the base model A6 will come with the Black Optic exterior package as standard. This package adds air intakes, a black grille and headliner, as well as mirror and window trim. An optional package is also offered, and adds 20-inch wheels and sport suspension.

Inside the A6 is three-zone climate control that's automatically controlled, Audi's MMI infotainment system with navigation, and heated 8-way power front seats that are wrapped in leather. Standard safety equipment is also onboard, and includes features such as adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert.

The 2021 Audi A6 luxury sedan will dig a $56,445 hole in your pocket if you want the Sport 45 TFSI model, and should be in showrooms by the end of 2020.
