The Audi Sport Quattro S1 was a Quattro programme car developed for homologation for Group B rallying in 1984, and sold as a production car in limited numbers. It was first shown at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1983 and later on produced from 1984 to 1985.
For the first time ever all the technical features to enhance the power of the engine were used at the same time on a prodution car. It was powered by an inline five-cylinder engine with 306hp.
