Audi teases the all-new RS3 Sportback and RS3 Sedan
They will be presented on June 18th
The fourth-generation Audi A3 will very soon receive its angriest version, the famous RS3. The German brand has already set the presentation date for June 18. To keep us waiting for more than a week, Audi has released a first teaser featuring the RS3 Sportback and the RS3 Sedan.
Compared to the A3, the RS3 variant will feature specific aesthetic attributes such as a redesigned grille with enlarged air intakes, wider side skirts, new rims and a more aggressive-looking rear diffuser. These changes will apply to both the Sportback and Sedan variants.
The interior is also expected to get bucket seats that are more supportive than on the S3 and a more sporty feel in general. The car could also be equipped with a new Drift mode that affects the Quattro transmission, like its Golf R cousin.
On the technical side, the RS3 will have a lowered chassis and stiffened suspension. Under the bonnet, Audi will continue to use the 2.5-litre inline five, which will be rated at around 420 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The 7-speed S-Tronic 7 automatic gearbox will also be used again.
