Audi teases the e-tron GT electric sedan

Specific camouflage for the electric sedan

While SUVs currently dominate the global car sales podium, some customers refuse to follow this trend. They have to be satisfied with more conventional alternatives. And in the world of electric cars, the situation is the same.

For instance, Audi offers two vehicles in its electric range, the e-tron SUV and its coupé sibling named e-tron Sportback. So there's nothing exciting for sporty sedan enthusiasts at the moment. This gap will soon be filled with the arrival of the e-tron GT, a family sedan with a racy look.

The German brand is anticipating the reveal of the car by publishing the first teasers. The vehicle features a dynamic silhouette of a four-door coupé. The original, futuristic-looking camouflage is furiously reminiscent of the Tron film with particularly flashy lighting effects.

The e-tron GT will be produced alongside the R8 at the Böllinger Höfe plant in Neckarsulm, Germany. The technical specifications of the vehicle are not yet known, but it should be very similar to those of the Porsche Taycan. A 761 PS version with the RS badge could therefore be on the programme. The Audi e-tron GT will be presented at the end of the year.

    • I’m pumped for this car, California is gonna stop the sale of new gas cars by 2035 so whether this car is good or not. It’s important that companies start heading this direction!
