Audi unveils the facelifted Q2
Minor aesthetic changes
Presented in 2016, the Audi Q2 surfs the trendy wave of urban SUVs. At the time, the vehicle was a bold step out of the German manufacturer's range, notably by daring some rather flashy color combinations that were unusual for Audi. Four years later, the Q2 undergoes a welcome mid-career facelift.
First of all, the stylistic changes are very limited. The front end gets a slightly revised front grille as well as modified air intakes. The biggest change is in the headlights, which adopt a different dotted pattern characteristic of the brand's other models.
These lights are full LED as standard and can be fitted with Matrix LED technology as an option. The cabin features new upholstery and new air vents. The gear knobs have also been modernized. In terms of equipment, the Q2 is fully loaded and gets the equipment of much luxurious models.
For example, there is the arrival of intelligent cruise control capable of automatically modulating the vehicle's speed according to traffic conditions and GPS data. Other technologies such as rear cross-traffic assist or the Audi Pre Sense complete the package.
