Audi unveils the Q5 Sportback
Another coupe SUV came to life!
Audi continues to expand its range of SUVs to face the BMW X4 and Mercedes GLC Coupé. Thus, after the Q3 Sportback, the German brand now presents the Q5 Sportback which will serve as a compromise before the luxurious and expensive Q8. The equipment and technique are identical to the Q5.
The appeal of the Q5 Sportback lies on the outside. On all coupe SUVs, it is style that is the primary motivation for buying. As a result, the Q5 Sportback is much more dynamic and sexy than the Q5. While the front ends of both vehicles are identical, it is at the back that the differences are most noticeable.
For example, the Q5 Sportback has a much more sloping roofline than the Q5. The result is a steeply inclined rear window and side windows that are more pinched at the end of the body, making the whole thing more sporty. The bumper is also more sophisticated in appearance.
Inside, the Q5 Sportback features the same dashboard as the Q5. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the 10.1-inch touch-screen have been introduced on the Q5 since its recent facelift. Under the bonnet, the Q5 Sportback will be equipped with mild hybrid gasoline and diesel engines. A plug-in hybrid version and a sportier SQ5 Sportback model are also planned.
