Audi unveils the sporty SQ5 Sportback TDI
The first sporty version of the Q5 Sportback
After unveiling the Q5 Sportback, which is none other than the coupe version of the standard Q5, Audi is now introducing the sportier SQ5 Sportback TDI. The SUV inherits a redesigned styling and a V6 diesel engine with a lot of torque.
Visually, the SQ5 Sportback TDI stands out from the other Q5 Sportbacks with a revised front end featuring light grey surrounds around the side air intakes. The front grille has been updated in line with the brand's S models, with black honeycombing. The rear end features an aluminium strip and four exhaust pipes.

The front lights feature Matrix LED technology as standard and the rear lights offer OLED technology as an option. If images of the interior are unavailable, Audi says the SQ5 Sportback TDI comes standard with sport seats and brushed aluminum inserts. Carbon fiber and piano black are optional.
As previously mentioned, the SQ5 Sportback TDI conceals a 3.0-litre V6 diesel producing 341 PS and 700 Nm of torque. It is combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system, Quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Audi SQ5 Sportback TDI will arrive in dealerships in the first half of 2021.
