Audi has given a timely facelift to its long standing supercar. The 2019 R8 features small tweaks to its exterior design such as an updated face however, Audi don't get too excited as there are not too many new things about this update.
The most noticeable feature is the redesigned front bumper which now has thicker slats to separate the central grille and side air intake vents. The presence of new slits between the bonnet and the front bumper complete the modifications to the front end.
Audi has not released the images of the rear end but according to the press release, the update also features a new 'low-set' grille at the rear which sits on top of the rear diffuser. From an engineering point of view, the update features improvised steering response thanks to the optional dynamic steering. The suspension has also been tweaked to provide better stability and control.
The 2019 model will be available with standard 19 inch wheels or the optional 20 inch wheels. This new model will go on sale from early 2019.
