It always pains me to see rare and valuable cars ending up in bushes for whatever reason it may be. As the old saying goes, money can't buy driving ability or something like that but nevertheless an incident which involves the writing-off of a valuable supercar or vintage car is painful to watch especially for a car enthusiast.
We often see videos of people crashing Audi R8s, Ferrari 458s and other such modern supercars, remember that all of these have a plethora of driver aids that are supposed to stop that sort of thing from happening. While the above Lamborghini Diablo doesn't have any of those things, it's just you and the machine which makes it much easier to end up in a ditch compared to the modern supercars.
The accident occurred in South Sydney sometime last week. Both the driver and passenger walked away from the accident without any injuries but the Diablo wasn't so lucky. The car was seen speeding down a busy street before it jumped the curb and ended up in the bushes.
The owner had only recently purchased the exotic from a local dealership in Sydney. It was a lucky day for both the driver and passenger of the car but the Diablo suffered considerable damage to the roof, front end and engine so will be unlikely to see a road again.
A gentle reminder folks that no matter how good a car you have or how good a driver you are, the speed limit is there for a reason so please follow it! You can buy a new car but you can't buy a new life....
