Frisco was married late last year. Given the type of couple they are, a normal honeymoon simply wouldn't cut it, so they planned a three-continent Grantour that they wanted to do in one of their Porsches... They have now finished the Australia leg (New Zealand next), so we've produced a nice infographic that will give you an idea as to a quick summary of an amazing tour in a beautiful country. Scroll down for some pictures too...

The above infographic will help you understand the big numbers but here's some more detail... The route was from Sydney to Alice Springs - Sydney (through the Blue Mountain Range), Bathurst, Canberra (all on the smallest of roads), the beautiful town of Eden, Phillip Island GP track, Melbourne (drove the Albert Park F1 track), Adelaide via the Murray River Bend and Tailem Town, Adelaide into the outback to Uluru (Ayres Rock) then Alice Springs.

One of the weirdest experiences was being pushed on the highway by a massive truck-tractor, for about 2 km as the Porsche died in peak hour traffic! There was also a few amusing moments with kangaroo's, especially one that was pretending to be a traffic officer... The most played song was Bruce Springsteen's 'Pony Boy' and the favourite place was Tailem Town - which was also the place where we met the most interesting person, Peter Squires. There's so many highlights, but next is New Zealand and the South Island. To follow Frisco and his exploits, follow him on Instagram - search @Frisco_911.

  • Nice, we visited Uluru and it was pouring rain, nobody there, we walked all the way around barefoot and alone.
