Australian barrister in trouble over 'offensive' number plate no one understands

Can you think what 'LGOPNR' stands for?

An Australian barrister has been in the news lately, following the 'offensive' number plate on his Lamborghini Huracan.

The number plate in question spells out 'LGOPNR' which to many people seems harmless at first but a few people have deciphered it to spell out 'leg opener'.

This is obviously quite offensive to some people and governments tend to stray from plates with rude words or phrases on them but some subtle ones do end up slipping through the system.

After an uproar, this was taken to court, where the barrister one and claimed he was "simply taking the p**s out of myself" by having this plate.

So, as it currently stands, he is off the hook but it is doubtful he will be allowed another plate like this one anytime soon.

Do you find this plate offensive?

  • I find the car offensive with the bogus SV badge and awful body kit. Clearly the guy has zero taste or class.

  • People get offended way too easily today. Political correctness. It says what it says... Mind your own business, get over it.

    Ignore the stupid.
