AUTODELTA 147 GTA AM 3.7: INSPIRED BY THE GLORIOUS PAST
In 2007 the British Autodelta realized a high-performance variant of the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA
It was 2002 when Alfa Romeo presented the GTA variant of its 147, the technological and performance apex of the Italian hatchback.
The car had a remarkable success, but the British tuner Autodelta thought to realize in 2007 an even more evolved version with incredible performances.
The British technicians developed the GTA AM 3.7, which was fitted with a new V6 Busso 3.7 engine that was able to deliver 422 hp with 580 Nm of torque thanks to the engagement of a volumetric compressor, a sports electronic control unit, a new increased air filter and a new stainless steel exhaust system.
After several tests performed on the Silverstone and Donigton circuits the suspension was stiffened and the steel frame was reinforced to adapt to the new performance of the vehicle.
I am sorry that such a vehicle was not officially built by Alfa Romeo because the most wealthy admirers of the Biscione would have done punches to buy it, but what do you think?
Thank you to Valentina Zanola and Alessandro Renesis for the cooperation
