Avery dennison bahama blue pearl S15.
Car wrapping at it's finest.
Been a major fan of s15's personally I don't think there is much I don't know about them, where there is a certain s15 or who owns one, but this one escaped under my radar I was introduce to Jack the owner of this s15 by a mutual friend, he wanted to bring his car down from the north of Ireland to a show in Mondello Park, in Nass Co.Kildare called Japfest last September, I've had what's called 'car stands' at shows here before and Jack wanted to have his s15 on one but this year I wasn't got talking to him about his love for cars where it all started and of course as a fellow s15 lover the conversation quickly turned to the s15 which he owned. Asking him if I could feature it for this tribe...his answer, yeah no problem.
When and where did you buy the s15 Jack?
I bought it in last year, I’ve always loved s15s, and had seen one on auto trader at decent money. It was pretty standard, pearl white, stock engine, work kai wheels. It had a pretty ugly kit on it only one I’ve ever seen,(probably for good reason it was terrible, however it had freshly re trimmed red leather interior, it had potential. Anyway I went over to England done a deal and drove it home to Ireland that evening.
Low max bride bucket seat the ultimate driving seat?
Tell me some more about the car?
The next day came a full service and the mods came thick and fast. A full 3” exhaust, hks induction kit and Greddy intercooler and BC coilovers were got for the car. Interior and electronics came next din stereo, quick release wheel and a HKS turbo timer . Over the winter I changed the brakes upgrading disc and pads, polly bushes and a Nismo strut bar. Aswell as a BOV delete. Then came the vertex kit and an areo spoiler got it sprayed and it was a terrible job, so I decided to wrap it, doing it myself over a few days. Next came a lightened flywheel and clutch, along with an exeddy paddle clutch. And onto the rota grids 18x9.5 et25 which were actually off that white chaser.
Any future plans Jack?
Big plans ahead I’ve already purchased a Garret GTX2867R, TIAL MVR 44mm wastegate, APW equal length Manifold, 740cc Nismo Injector, Walbro fuel pump, Oil catch can, Japspeed radiator and a roof spoiler. Just need to buy a link ecu . Hoping to get work CR-2PC before March. Next year then I’m planing on origin fenders and Painting the car
