BAC Tease Us with New and improved Mono
BAC (Briggs Automotive Company) has teased us with something new after 9 years of producing just one car - The Mono. This might seem weird for you to hear, BAC produces 3 cars per month - they are a very small company. They celebrated the 100th Mono manufactured 2 months ago. At that time BAC Co-Founder and Director of Product Development Neill Briggs had noted “There is a lot more excitement to come from BAC in the near future”.
At that moment I thought the near future would be 2020, not next month (July). BAC has teased us with a video on their YouTube Channel with a covered car that represents a Mono along with the logo of the Mono. The silhouette formed by the covered car has undergone suspicions of being a two seater - road legal - track car similar to the Mono.
I say otherwise, I say they are bringing a better version of the Mono. The quote used in the video is “forever striving for ultimate perfection" and the terms followed the quote are ‘lighter’, ‘more powerful’ and ‘faster’. After the above is the sentence “we are ready to take it to the next level...”. This confirms to me that they are taking the Mono to the next level.
Well this teaser for a new car from BAC is brilliant and I am looking forward to it. They are launching their new car at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 4th of July. I bet they will show another phenomenal performance on the GFOS Hillclimb with their new car, if they are going to show-off it's performance, I recon they will, it is a perfect opportunity to do so. However, what do you think will the new BAC will be, a new and improved Mono or, a two-seater version of the Mono? Let me know in the comments.
