‘Bad-ass’ Ford Raptor on its way to a showroom - and Xbox - near you
Ford Europe’s toughest, most performance orientated Raptor is up for sale across the continent.
Ford have just released their latest version of the F-150 Raptor and it's a bit of a bad-ass. The new power-pickup was launched at Gamescom, making it the first vehicle to be released at the event. Ford chose the expo to tie their marketing campaign to their car's feature in Forza Horizon 4 – allowing players to put the Raptor through its paces without testing their desire to stay alive driving the real thing.
The Raptor’s improved engine puts a gargantuan 500Nm of torque through its 10-speed automatic gearbox. Giving it the ability to climb any terrain and jump over any stretch of sandy track (see images for reference). Ford's improved all-terrain suspension is the major talking point for the updated pick-up, but quite frankly it’s all just a lot of measurements and letters that stand for something. All you need to know is that it goes up and down enough to make the ride comfortable while you scale the Tesco car park. (Don’t expect the parking to be easy once you actually find a space, though). Last year, the Ford F-range (including the Raptor) was the most successful vehicle line by some considerable margin, with over half-a-million sales worldwide – let’s hope their luck continues with their newest model...

This is the Ranger Raptor not the F-150 Raptor.
Thanks Mike. The Ranger takes all the internals from the F-150 (hence why we'd call it an updated version of it) but yes you are correct - this is not an F-150 in itself.
