Batman is back - a dark, skeletonized timepiece with ‘The Riddler-themed’ lume

Introducing the Undone Dark Knight Retrospective

Undone is a Hong Kong-based watch brand that specialised in two things: customisable watches and timepieces dedicated to - and inspired by - pop culture, cartoon and move icons. This is part of the latter group. Introducing the Dark Knight Restrospective.

This is Undone's third wristwatch from the Batman series and it immediately sets itself apart from the previous two models thanks to the ruthenium-plated Seiko-sourced TMI NH72 automatic-winding skeletonised movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

The Dark Knight Retrospective is a ticking nod to the Batman series: the anti-reflective glass is a nod to the Batmobile's bulletproof windshield, and the see-through dial reveals a skeleton movement and a radar lume inspired by the car's Detect-A-Scope.

The dial is 'sandwiched' between two stainless steel frames (with satin black DLC coating) complemented with red aluminium rings, around the crown and the glass fold, a nod to the crimson pinstripes on the Batmobile, a modified 1955 Ford Lincoln Futura, driven by Batman in the 60s.

Production is limited to 999 pieces, priced at $499.
