Carl Benz was an german engineer and automobile pioneer. His Benz Patent-Motorwagen Typ 1 is seen as the first car with road capabilities and it counts as the hour of birth of the modern automobile.

It was powered by an one-cylinder engine (four stroke engine) with 954ccm. The vehicle had a power output of 0.75hp and it's top speed was 16km/h (9.94mph).
