Russia has always been famous in the automotive sector for its production of essential and not particularly beautiful vehicles, but in recent years this trend has been gradually being abandoned.
This is demonstrated by the Bilekin Classic Car, a Moscow company specializing in the renovation of vintage cars founded in 2002 that presented its first car called Vintage at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show.
The chassis and the 420 hp V8 4.0 24V engine were derived from a BMW M3 E92, while the hand-made steel body is inspired by the elegant Volvo P1800.
The control panel
Equipped with new retro-styled steel rims, the car features a completely redesigned interior where extensive use has been made of leather, crystal, wood and fine fabrics assembled in a completely handcrafted way.
The rear cockpit
Sold at a price of 130,000 euros, Vintage had a moderate commercial success and its production continues today.
TEST DRIVE OF THE BILENKIN VINTAGE
I have never seen a more beautiful interior than this and I fell in love with it, but what do you think of it?
