The actor Steve McQueen has always been a great lover of sports cars with a particular preference for Porsche.
In 2016 the Californian tuner Bisimoto Engineering decided homage him with a special car: the 911 BR.
A 1980 Porsche 930 whose design inspiration were the models produced in the 70s with new alloy wheels inspired by the famous Fuchs.
In the interior, the original seats were dismantled to be replaced with models similar to those used on WWII combat aircraft.
The 3.0 engine changed to a Boxer 3.6 24V hp derived from a Porsche 964. The exhaust manifold of a 996 GT3 and a new electronic control unit were added to increase the power to 300 hp.

Once developed, the car was sold to a charity auction to support the Boys Republic school in Chino Hills, reserved for troubled teenagers where studied McQueen himself (the same school received several contributions when the actor was still alive).
A car conceived for a noble purpose, therefore, but what do you think of it?
