You see this all over and pretty much everywhere like it's a "normality"
I just never understood why people would do this, what is so important that it just simply cannot wait?
I once asked someone because they had a habit of checking their emails while they were driving... well, when I say had a habit I mean they still do. They responded with "I have work to do and people are looking for me". Quite frankly the response to give whoever is bothering you is that "I am busy driving and I will deal with whatever I need to when I can", worst of all is that they had a wee baby child in the back seat which makes it even worse. This means that you not only particularly care about yourself but also your child.
Of course, someone will argue "Well yes but I only do it at red lights" and this might be the case but this is where it starts, what's next? On the motorway? On the school run?
All fun and games until something tragic had to happen.
I can honestly say I have never texted and drove ever. Why? Well because for one I enjoy driving so I am fully emerged in it and fully focused, mainly because I can only really do one thing at a time and not multi-task.
Obviously there is nothing we can do about the fact, because apparently... a mobile phone is a lot more important than life and if that is how you feel then very well.
I mean you see this all over, ridiculous drivers and then you pull up next to them, then discover that they are texting, one day I will put a snake in my car and whenever I see someone texting while they are driving and I pray that the window is open and I shall throw it at them and watch their soul leave their body. That would be hilarious.
So I think for the most part my rant is over.
