BMW E9 3.0 CSL 1972
Beauty and the Beast: this classic lightweight special effectively marks the birth of BMW Motorsport. It may look pretty, but the beast lurks within.
Both pillarless and peerless, the 3.0 CSL may have cost more than a house back in 1972, but its track twin was an all conquering monster. Who needs a house when you have 200 bhp and under 1200 kilos?
Thanks to Munich Legends for the beautiful/beastly 3.0 CSL and to Ashdown Park Hotel for the wonderful setting.

Excited to see a full coverage of this CSL.
Should really do a video next time I see the car :-)
I am working with the local Texas E9 owners for a documented get together. Rumors said - 12-15 E9 cars. Some 3.0 CSLs.
Great pictures!
Thanks! :-)
Nice hub , wherever this car cost you now bettwen 120 and 300 thousand € and its not with the same performance like the original , because the most of it has been restored with similair part from the old bmw cars not the original part from the 3.0 csl.
Gorgeous!!
Great car great pics.
