BMW M2 Competition M Performance - Sublime !
The BMW M2 Competition becomes even more beautiful.
A few weeks after the revelation of the new BMW M2 Competition, the Munich manufacturer presents the M Performance accessories available on the small 410 hp. These accessories are intended to enhance the sporty look of the car, but they also reduce the weight of the BMW M2 Competition. Thus, the sports propeller will become more efficient than the model of series, and will shade its competitors.
The roof of the car now uses carbon fiber, reducing the weight of the car by about 5 kg. But it's not over, since the trunk is also carbon (6 kg less on the scale) and 19 '' forged wheels pull the weight down (3.2 kg less).
The improvements are numerous, we can for example mention the front cover, also carbon (9 kg less), the carbon grille and the spoiler and the side air outlet. The icing on the cake, the exhaust of the BMW M2 Competition is more melodious, thanks to the arrival of a new line of exhaust. This part is made of titanium (cannulas are carbon), and lighten the weight of the BMW M2 Competition by about 8 kg.
Finally, know that the car is lowered by 20 mm and that it has new brakes, necessarily more biting and enduring than the BMW M2 Competition. To afford these accessories M Performance, it will take until the month of November 2018! The prices of these accessories have not been detailed yet.
As a reminder, the BMW M2 Competition develops 410 hp and 550 Nm of torque thanks to the adoption of the 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line engine borrowed from the BMW M3 and M4.
