After anticipating part of the design with the 9cento concept bike, BMW Motorrad presented its new F 900 XR at EICMA 2019.
The 9cento concept bike
Based on a steel box frame, the bike equips a new 105 hp 895 two-cylinder engine managed by a six-speed gearbox that allows up to four different driving modes.
The suspension consists of a USD fork in the front section and an aluminium swingarm combined with a single shock absorber in the rear, in the braking system there are disc brakes supported by the ABS Pro and traction control.
The endowment of the bike also includes the LED lighting system with cornering function, the emergency call device, the keyless ride, the two-way quick-shift and the BMW Motorrad Connectivity system that allows you to manage phone calls, listen to music or act as a navigator.
The control panel
Equipped with 17 "alloy wheels, the F 900 XR features a plastic tank with a capacity of 15.5 litres of fuel.
