BMW Recycles Old Ads for Certified Pre-Owned Campaign
BMW just launched a new media campaign on US TV networks, promoting its Certified Pre-Owned program which allows you to buy a pre-owned car, with warranty and everything, after it has been thoroughly checked by BMW technicians.
The thing is, their new ad agency, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners decided to re-use older ads of these cars, created by the ones who ran marketing for BMW up until not long ago, KBS.
The ads are also using Chris Pine's voice on the background, with some rather funny jokes being made there.
Whether you think he's funny or not, doesn't matter. What is brilliant though is the idea of re-using older ads to promote older cars. Genius!
