BONSPEED X-TYPE: THE AMERICAN JAGUAR
In 2004, the Bonspeed tuner made a particular variant of the Jaguar X-Type
In 2004 the US department of Jaguar asked the Californian tuner Bonspeed to make a special version of the X-Type to be presented at SEMA 2004 in Las Vegas.
The car was recognizable for the new body kit and forged 19 "alloy wheels, while new Recaro F1 sports seats and a 1200 watt Sony stereo system were fitted in the cockpit.
The V6 3.0 engine was enhanced with a sports electronic control unit and a Borla exhaust system to increase the power to 260 hp and to improve handling, new suspensions were installed with Koni shock absorbers and Eibach springs.
Built to advertise all the new components installed, the Bonspeed X-Type remained a concpet car.
In my opinion the body kit is a little too aggressive, but what do you think?
