- Tata Tiago | Tata Tigor | Tata Nexon

What you see here are the refreshed versions of the Nexon, Tigor and Tiago. Tata Motors has released just one image each for the trio. Bookings for them are now officially open, with the minimum token amount set at Rs 11,000 (~USD 155). Those who are interested in reserving any one of these can do so online. Although their launch dates are not confirmed yet, Tata Motors says that everything about the trio, including prices, will be revealed later this month.

As expected, the Nexon facelift takes its design cues from the Nexon EV we saw last month. Even the alloy wheels look the same. The Tiago and the Tigor, on the other hand, look similar to the Altroz, which will launch on January 22, 2020. Both Tiago siblings seem to have carry forwarded the same alloy wheels as before. The duo now features a new front fascia, but the Tigor has gained LED DRLs as well. All of them boast Tata Motors’ Impact 2.0 design language. The company also confirms that all models will pack new features and that their price lists will be considerably higher than their respective outgoing versions.

In all likelihood, both the Tiago and Tigor will go petrol-only. Both models will share the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with the Altroz. As far as the Nexon is concerned, it will retain both its power-plants. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel should also pump out the same amount of power and torque as before. However, their mileage figures are likely to take a hit. In the transmissions department, all three will be available with manual as well as automatic options.

Tata Motors said that at the Auto Expo 2020, it would showcase a total of 26 vehicles including four global unveils. The seven-seater Harrier, or Gravitas, will be amongst the four. The production-ready Altroz EV and a near-production version of the H2X concept could fill two out of the three slots left. And yes, the refreshed Nexon, Tigor and Tiago will be there too. What else? How about the refreshed JTP twins? Now that’s something worth anticipating!
