Brand new Lamborghini Huracan seized for speeding on the way home from dealer
That's really unfortunate
A new Lamborghini owner had his $300k Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder seized after he was caught speeding on the way home from the supercar dealership.
An Iraqi citizen resident of Norway was caught doing 147 mph (236 kph) in Denmark on his way home from picking up his new car.
Police told a Norwegian news outlet that the driver was seen in an 81 mph zone (130 kph) last week approaching the port city of Hirtshals, where he was going to catch a ferry to Norway. But instead, he was pulled over and had the car seized.
The police said the owner was "a little annoyed" after this, but things could get way worse for him. The thing is, Denmark passed a new law earlier this year that allows authorities to confiscate and auction the vehicles of reckless drivers – meaning he may never see his beloved supercar ever again.
He must now go to a court hearing to decide what will be done about his Huracan, and hopefully, it will teach him not to be so reckless on the roads in the future.
