Brazil Grand Prix was brilliant with a world record
The Brazilian Grand Prix was brilliant and entertaining, however, with all the celebrations we forgot to honour the guys who help the drivers when they come into the pits - the pit crew. Even though Max Verstappen won the #braziliangp, credit should also go to his pit crew who have gotten a world record pit stop at 1.82 seconds. Yes! Pit stops in F1 are fast, these guys are the fastest.
Aston Martin Red Bull's Pit crew already held 1st, 2nd pit stop (included the previous world record) and tied with Williams Racing for the third. Now, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing's pit crew hold the top three fastest pit stops of all time.
The coincidental fact is all the top three fastest world record setting pit stops came this Formula1 season. The 3rd fastest at the British Grand Prix at 1.91 seconds, the second fastest at the German Grand Prix at 1.88 seconds and the fastest of 1.82 seconds at the Brazilian grand prix. I honestly think, you cannot get faster than this. The Aston Martin Red Bull Racing's Pit Crew deserve a lot more praise and a big performance bonus than they already get.
