Breaking news: here is finally the all-new Dacia Sandero!
After eight years of good and loyal service, the second-generation Dacia Sandero is taking a well-deserved retirement and finally giving way to a more modern third-generation. While the newcomer does not overturn its design and opts instead for a smooth evolution, the changes are nonetheless notable.
First, the front end is refined with a grille that adopts chrome elements on the Sandero and satin grey on the Sandero Stepway. As on the previous model, the Stepway keeps a grey protective ski giving a false SUV look. On both versions, the bonnet is more ribbed than before.
On the other hand, the profile of the city car remains simplistic and particularly sleek. We simply note the arrival of new door handles and mirrors. Finally, the rear section is characterized by more elaborate taillights. The interior has not yet been revealed but Dacia promises more comfort and modernity here too.
In terms of equipment, the new Sandero will take a major step into the connected era with a large touch screen and new technologies such as full LED headlights, automatic emergency braking as well as front and rear parking sensors. The base price will remain very aggressive and is expected to be around €8,000 (£7,200/$9,500).
