Breaking news: here is finally the all-new Lexus NX!

A design that evolves in depth

1w ago

Officially unveiled this evening, the second generation Lexus NX made a premature appearance on the web a few hours before its world premiere. The official photos show a greatly revised design. The front end, for example, has an even more imposing grille with enlarged air intakes.

The headlights have been refined and the daytime running lights have been integrated in the upper part, as on the IS. Combined with the huge grille, this gives the SUV a very angry look. The vehicle's profile is visibly longer, with a C-pillar that is abundantly thicker.

The shape of the glazing, however, remains similar. The rear end changes radically with the appearance of a band between the taillights and the disappearance of the Lexus logo in favor of the brand's lettering. The bottom of the bumper features stylish tailpipes.

The dashboard takes a giant leap forward in terms of modernity with the adoption of a large touch screen similar to that of the Toyota Mirai. This will certainly reduce the number of buttons on the centre console. The instrumentation is fully digital and the steering wheel is entirely new.

  • I don't mean to be negative here - but that is not attractive to me. I am sure it performs just fine and is a good vehicle and all - but it's kind of ugly (taste is subjective).
