BREAKING NEWS X3!

1) Toro Rosso have confirmed today that they will be retaining their driver lineup of Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly for the 2020 season. No surprise really as they don’t really have that many drivers to choose from other than Hulkenberg but maybe they didn’t go for him because he’s not part of the Red Bull driver lineup, who knows! More details available via the F1.com link provided below.

2) Red Bull have also confirmed today that they are retaining Alex Albon at the team for the 2020 season. The right choice made as Albon has proven to be a great driver for the team in the time he’s been there and I hope he manages to give Max Verstappen a run for his money next year. 3) Lastly on the news front, F1 is looking to become fully sustainable by 2025 and net zero carbon by 2030. This is an excellent step forward for the sport, by Liberty, on making things as environmentally friendly as it can possibly be. For more details on this, click on the link below via F1.com.

So much information to take in during a 24 hour window but nice to hear at the start of a race week. Only news left to officially receive is who will be George Russell’s teammate next season at Williams. It’s most likely going to be Nicholas Latifi but we will have to wait and see if that becomes reality or not in the coming weeks.
