British GP: Leclerc quickest in FP3 to make it three different teams on top
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc made it three teams in third practice session of F1 British GP to be quickest ahead of teammate Sebastian Vettel.
The overcast conditions and light rain saw limited running in FP3 of F1 British GP at Silverstone but Ferrari drivers found some speed as Leclerc ended up quickest with a 1m25.905s which was only 0.028s quicker than Vettel (1m25.931s).
Leclerc made it three different teams ending up on top in the three practice sessions with Red Bull Racing taking FP1, Mercedes FP2 and Ferrari in FP3. It was a clean session but the Monegasque though had some run-ins with Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat.
With Ferrari ahead, Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton (1m25.954s) was third ahead - only 0.049s behind of Leclerc. A late push from Red Bull's Max Verstappen (1m26.440s) helped him to beat Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas (1m26.456s) to be fourth but not for long.
Red Bull's Pierre Gasly managed to beat both Verstappen and Bottas to end up fourth with a 1m26.118s as McLaren's Lando Norris (1m26.689s) took best of the rest in seventh from Renault pair of Nico Hulkenberg (1m26.945s) and Daniel Ricciardo (1m26.965s).
Toro Rosso's Alexander Albon (1m26.976s) was once again in the Top 10 with Alfa Romeo Racing's Antonio Giovinazzi (1m27.036s) doing a good job to be 11th from McLaren's Carlos Sainz (1m27.106s) and Toro Rosso's Kvyat (1m26.108s) - only 0.002s apart.
The Spaniard also had a moment with Haas' Kevin Magnussen (1m27.275s) in the session with the Dane ending up 15th behind teammate Romain Grosjean (1m27.110s), with Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen (1m27.424s) in 16th leading the Racing Point drivers.
It was Lance Stroll (1m27.544s) ahead of Sergio Perez (1m27.598s) in 17th as both did not do many laps due to greasy conditions at Silverstone, with Williams' George Russell (1m29.065s) ending up 19th from Robert Kubica (1m29.450s).
