Bronco R for Race stuff - Ford say you can now order R maybe?
Tap view videos... you get to see the '68 small block famous Baja Bronco and get a ride by magic. Also a New Bronco ride too, sorta.
The Baja 1000 is a Mexican off-road motorsport race held each year on the Baja California Peninsula with all kinds of class events; buggies trucks, bikes, anything that you could trow in. 2021 will see FORD race New Bronco in the Baja 1000 which is not a bit of a surprise in 2019. But what is a shock today is that you can order a factory fresh Bronco Baja bug!! How do you like them apples Jeep? That would be a lot of fun dune smashing race trailing and full steaming across the desert. Videos fallen in the dust here are a taste of sand in you teeth crack experience thrill.
Old Bronco in the videos is driven by Shelby Hall, granddaughter of legendary off-road racer Rod Hall, who originally drove that ’68 Bronco to victories at the 1969 Mexican 1000 and the Baja 1000, shown here with race partner Amy Lerner. These awesome guys compete the old classic Bronco truck in vintage endurance races to podium finishes.
Shelby and Amy living the dream. I'm so jealous.
.Ford hope that a privateer New Bronco R team willl take over race duty in 2022.
So which one do you like best? I like the '68, sounds like god's own breath. New Bronco sounds like snot after someone punched you in the throat.
