Bronco reservation holders have until January to make order changes
Another day, another delay
If you placed a reservation for the 2021 Ford Bronco and have not been able to customize it, do not worry. A user on the Bronco6G forum confirmed that Ford will allow customers to make changes to their orders up until January 31, 2021.
The new Bronco is so popular that the reservation website crashed when it was first made available in July of this year. It got so bad that some people weren't even able to choose what dealership they preferred for their order. Initially customers were given until October 31 to make changes but it seems that wasn't far enough, especially since the online configurator is not even up yet.

Yes that's right, buyers are not even able to customize their vehicle yet. The configurator was originally supposed to launch in September but as you can tell by the fact that I'm writing this, it was pushed to mid-October. In November, dealers have been instructed to reach out to interested customers and turn their $100 deposits into actual sales for the Bronco. Ford intends to give those customers a timeframe for their vehicle's build date in February 2021.
Ford's vice president of U.S. marketing, Mark LaNeve, told Automotive News that Ford expects "over 75 percent" of the 165,000 deposits to become full sales. He also said more people had put in reservations for the Ford Bronco Sport rather than the two-door and four-door variants.
