There are plenty of niche supercar companies that nestle within the heart of Europe. Rimac is pioneering the surge towards electrification, Zenvo is keeping the twin-charging market alive and then there's Sin, a Bulgarian manufacturer that unveiled its R1 550 supercar at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

The 550 is the third development of the R1 supercar which features a naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V8 outputting 542bhp (550PS) and a body which is very much reminiscent of the ill-fated Ascari brand. And as if the exterior styling isn't quite enough to set your underwear on fire, Vilner (an interior specialist) has taken one of the Bulgarian oddities and festooned it in one of the most striking interiors we've ever laid eyes on.

The bespoke interior was placed inside a bare carbon fibre cockpit, alloying the outfitters to stretch their imaginations. This culminated in a red and black contrast style with some intricate touches like having the Bulgarian national flag stitched around the instrument binnacle.

The company also produces a vibrant interiors for a host of performance cars like the Audi R8 V10, Lamborghini Murcielago and Alfa Romeo RZ, so the firm is certainly pushing to make a name for itself. It claims to be up to scratch with the upholsters of Pagani, but we'll let you guys decide whether the company has reached those dizzying heights.

  • Good interior IMO. Much more garish ones out there; just look at Mansory's work

  • The red's a bit bright for my tastes, but other than that I see nothing "garish" about this. Change that to more of a red wine color and it would be beautiful.

  • I don't see anything wild about this interior

  • Sin is the word for it. Although, not a very bad one.
